Venus Pharma is a newly set up pharmaceutical company serving customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
The aim of the company is to bring the best practices, products and consumer trends from global health markets to local GCC consumers.
Venus Pharma focuses on development, production and commercialization of highly performing, affordable products in Over the Counter Medicines, Food Supplements, Medical Devices, Personal Care and other related pharmacy goods segments.

The Team
The founders of Venus Pharma bring a combination of previous OTC pharma product and customer experience alongside corporate finance, logistics, and global pharmacy and hospital networks.
Khalid M. AlFuhaid
Chairman
Khalid M. AlFuhaid is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of MNAF3 Arabia Company Limited. MNAF3 Arabia is a holding company of several business in building material, healthcare, beauty, real-estate & general investments. MNAF3 Arabia Group is fully owned by Khalid M. AlFuhaid and its current annual turnover is in excess of US$ 50 million.
Khalid founded MIDAD Holding Co. in 2006 bringing with him vast experience and extensive knowledge in metal business, manufacturing, associated technology and market dynamics of the Middle East Region. MIDAD Holding Co. is a Joint Venture by AlFozan Group, AlMuhaidib Group and Khalid AlFuhaid. MIDAD is specialized in developing metal based mega industrial projects.
Prior to joining MIDAD, Khalid worked at Aluminium Products Co. Ltd. (ALUPCO) for seventeen years in various management positions and was at the helm of the management while he opted to resign and pursue personal business opportunities. ALUPCO was the leader in Aluminium Extrusion business in the Middle East Region. Achievements included sales growth from US$ 65 million to US$ 190 million and capacity expansion of 250% in 7 years.
Khalid AlFuhaid was born in Dhahran in February 1965, and educated at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Saudi Arabia. He holds B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and resides in Saudi Arabia with his wife and four children viz. Faisal, Nouf, AlAnoud & Mohammad.
Ivan Berkes
Executive Vice-Chairman
Ivan Berkes is the Manager and Shareholder of several companies in the pharma and consumer sectors with long term track record of building up new and successful start ups in the segment.
Co-Founder and Managing Director of PXG Pharma – now subsidiary of Phoenix Group delivering Private Label product to PHX Group Pharmacies across Europe.
Founder and CEO of DrMax Pharma – one of the most successful pharma starts up in CEE. Exited shareholding and management position in 2016.
Founder and Shareholder of London Pharma Capital (Specialized London based company, creating ventures in the areas of pharmacy consumer products), Patrone Pharma Turkey, Pragen Pharma Germany (divested to largest global VMS business in 2018), Easy Cleaning Solutions Company (50m + USD provider of Cleaning products to the UK retail market), PIC Plastics company (plastics packaging producer company in Central Europe).
Ivan has wide experience in creating win-win partnerships and opportunities in pharma and consumer sectors benefiting all participating members of the supply chain, while creating significant consumer value propositions.
Prior entrepreneurial stage of his carrier – Ivan was Principal Consultants for A. T Kearney and Director for PWC Transaction services in London advising on M&A and business improvement practices for top clients in the sector (Actavis, Walgreens Boots Alliance Group, Lloyds, Galenica, UK NHS, Rolls Royce, Marks & Spencer, ASDA Walmart, etc. ).
Prior to Consulting he worked for Emerson Electric Corporation as Business Development and Corporate Planning Director in Global and European Headquarters.
Education includes MBA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO (USA) and MSc in Robotics and Automation System form Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.
Ramzi Abu Khadra
Non-executive Board Director
Ramzi Abu Khadra holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Abukhadra is partner at Mayaasim Al-Khaleej Real Estate Development Company, Prior to Mayaasim, Mr. Abukhadra was a Managing Director for seven years at JPMorgan Chase Bank heading the asset management division for the bank in the Middle East.
Mr. Abukhadra has held various other senior positions in the region including Managing Director at Rasmala Investments, CEO of iHilal Financial Services, Director at the Carlyle Group and Senior Engineer at Saudi Aramco, the national oil company of Saudi Arabia.
In addition, Mr. Abukhadra served on various boards as a non-executive director including TAIB Bank, in Bahrain (Vice Chairman), Tatweer (Kuwait real estate developer) and Chairman of the board at Metlife AIG, ANB a joint venture insurance company between Metlife and AIG from the USA and Arab National Bank in Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Abukhadra is currently the Chairman of the Board of UBS Saudi Arabia and a Board Director on several family-owned business enterprises in KSA.
Emre Kati
Executive Director
Emre Kati is a former consultant and private equity investor having worked in the UK, US, EU and Turkey in addition to the GCC.
Emre sat on boards of mid-cap businesses in the UK, Germany and Turkey and advised businesses as the former country head of Kearney Management Consultants in Turkey. He has invested in several businesses in Europe and Turkey as a private equity an angel investor. Emre has founded and exited an online B2C online business in Turkey and is a board advisor to a GCC startup. He teaches classes on Emerging Markets at Duke University on a part-time basis.
Emre holds a BS, Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, MBA from Duke University and is a UK chartered management accountant.
Emre is an Executive Director and acting CEO at Venus Pharma and runs the day-to-day business of the company.
Saed Nassar
Financial Director
Saeed Nassar, Saeed is the Chief Financial Officer of MNAF3 Arabia Company, MNAF3 Arabia is a holding company of several business in building material, healthcare, beauty, real-estate & general investments. Saeed Nassar Joined Life Lines Medical Company. Ltd (Member of MNAF3 Arabia Group) in Feb 2013 as Accounting Manager and promoted to Finance Manager within two years. In 2020 he becomes CFO and Board Member for the Group.
Mr. Nassar was born in Cairo in September 1979, and educated in Banha University, Egypt. He hold B.Sc. degree in Accounting dated May 2000, he is a member of the Institute of Management Accounting “IMA” and Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants “SOCPA”.
Mr. Nassar is the CFO of Venus Pharma.
Simon Doris
Global Product Development
With over 25 years of executive, consulting and investment banking experience gained with London Pharma Capital, Kearney Management Consultants, Lansdowne and Wit Soundview, Simon brings wide experience of the healthcare, consumer and retail sectors.
Simon has a track record of building successful new businesses as a founder of LPC, investment bank Wit Soundview Europe and of Lansdowne Consulting – an international consulting firm. He also brings a track record of developing effective operating models for global-scale businesses in several sectors. Simon holds a PhD in Particle Physics from CERN and is a business commentator for BBC, Sky, CNBC & Time.
Simon has a Ph.D. in Particle Physics from CERN, the European Particle Physics Laboratory in Geneva and a BSc. (Hons) in Physics from Edinburgh University.
Simon is the Global Product Development Head of Venus Pharma.
